Psychology student and Community Ambassador raising awareness
Hina Rizwan is a psychology student and Pukaar Community Ambassador who wants to raise awareness about mental health and make it easier for people to ask for help.
Hina has seen many people struggle to ask for help, and has felt that struggle too. In our society, asking for help is often seen as a sign of weakness or incompetence.
Studying psychology showed Hina how much mental health matters, and raising awareness became a goal. Hina came across Pukaar Community a year ago and values its awareness campaigns, its seminars on campus and online, and its work to bring young people to the front line, and looks forward to another year with Pukaar.
